Working in a fossil lab often meant working with really cute and well-preserved little specimens.

This little lizard was found in Germany, and the science supported that it lived within the leaf little of a forest floor.

I used coloured pencil on coquille paper for this illustration because I thought it made for a really pleasing effect.
